Description

A great family on Shelter Island, NY (far East Hampton), are seeking a live-in or live-out nanny for their two little ones aged 3 years old and 10 months old. Their 3-year-old is in camp until September and then will be in school from 8 am until 11 am starting in September.

Both parents are working from home full-time and are looking for someone who is okay with parents who work from home. Their ideal candidate is someone who is engaging and present and likes to plan activities with the young ones. Also, someone who loves being outdoors, cooking/meal prep and doesn't mind doing light cleaning or organizing when not busy with the children. They really stress on the candidate being warm and loves what they do.

There will be no deep cleaning, but light housekeeping is expected. That means maintaining the home's cleanliness by cleaning up messes made, i.e., spills, putting the toys away, the children's laundry, maintaining the cleanliness of the children's room, preparing meals for their little one, etc. The nanny should be present and engaging at all times. They would love someone who is clean and can drive (not a deal-breaker). The family wants someone who will stay a minimum of one year and become part of the family.

The family wants a COVID-vaccinated nanny and someone who is still COVID conscious.

There may be travel involved but all expenses will be taken care of.

The position begins as soon as the right candidate is found.

3 years experience minimum in a paid professional nanny position. Paid Vacation and Sick days Paid Federal Holidays
